coalescing media

Oil water Separator Coalescing Media

Filling Technologies coalescing media are used to separate the oils and hydrocarbons that are contained in waste water. Thanks to the special shape and internal 60° inclination of their "wings", the stratification process of the various substances is significantly accelerated according to severity.

Filling Technologies produces 3 different types of coalescing filters and a lamellar pack (Marlex) with a 60° inclination.

These products effectively respond to the needs of oil and hydrocarbon separation in various situations: from first rain tanks to small wells to service stations, just to name a few.  Since they are modular and since they can be custom made and shaped upon customer request, they can be adapted to cement tanks, common sewer shafts and compact tank systems for oil extraction, (see the Application Section - Oil extraction).

They can also be provided in various parts, such as containment/lifting steel frames AISI , 316L or galvanized lamela with supporting shelves or extruded supports to fix them to a wall.

Main Advantages

These products are indicated to improve the existing systems' efficiency, while they make it possible to use less space and to achieve a subsequent cost reduction on the newer systems.

ONDA 9
Synthetic fill composed of a series of corrugated sheets of high quality PVC, which are assembled with the direction of the corrugations inverted every other sheet and glued together to form modules. It is used in oil extraction plants and trickling filters at low load.

ONDA 13
Synthetic fill composed of a series of corrugated sheets of high quality PVC, which are assembled with the direction of the corrugations inverted every other sheet and glued together to form modules. It is used in oil extraction plants and trickling filters at low load and bed biofilters submerged.

ONDA 20
Synthetic fill composed of a series of corrugated sheets of high quality PVC, which are assembled with the direction of the corrugations inverted every other sheet and glued together to form modules. It is used in oil extraction plants and trickling filters at low load and bed biofilters submerged.

MARLEX 50
MARLEX 50 is obtained by assembling sheets of PS shaped by thermoforming, is shown to increase the specific surface area of sedimentation tanks or flocculators.
